Where does Scout My Car operate?
We inspect cars in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
What does the Scout My Car inspection include?
The inspection includes a 144 point check up, a vehicle diagnostics report, and a summary of all service requirements. It also covers vehicle history, owner report, price recommendation and an exclusive discount on services and repairs carried out by our garages.
How does the Scout My Car process work?
After you book a package and submit the details of the car you want inspected, we will get in touch with the seller to confirm that the car is available and request a time to pick-up the car for the inspection. Once the pick-up time is confirmed (but no later than 3 working hours after booking the package), we will be in touch with you to confirm your package and to inquire if you have any specific inspection requests.
What if the seller refuses to have the car inspected?
Our seller management team is trained to deal with any objections and concerns by the seller. If, however, we are unable to convince the seller to allow us to inspect his car, we will notify you right away. You may then request a refund of your payment or ask us to inspect another car of your choice.
What happens if the car I asked to be inspected has already been sold?
If the car you asked us to inspect is not available anymore, we will notify you right away. You may then request a refund of your payment or can ask us to inspect another car of your choice.
How reliable are the inspection results?
All inspections are carried out by ISO certified garages, with qualified staff, using modern technology & equipment. All reports are created with the utmost care, however the inspection results cannot serve as a guarantee that there might not be any issues with the car in the future. All seller information is provided to us by the seller on a voluntary basis - we will do our best to verify the sellers information.
What is a vehicle diagnostics report?
Vehicle diagnostic reports use the vehicles self-diagnostic and reporting capability to download real-time data in addition to a standardized series of diagnostic trouble codes, which allow us to rapidly identify malfunctions within the vehicle.

What does Scout My Car do?
Scout My Car is an independent vehicle inspection service. We provide our customers with an unbiased report on the state of the car in order to make their purchasing decision easier. For you, this is a sign that the customer is serious about buying your car, otherwise he/she wouldn't invest in the inspection!
How does Scout My Car inspect my car?
Every car undergoes a 144 point check up, which includes checks of the vehicle exterior, interior, engine compartment, underbody, and tyres. The vehicle will also undergo a brief road test, as well as a vehicle diagnostics report. All findings are summarized in a report which is sent to the customer.
Why should I allow Scout My Car to inspect my car?

How long does Scout My Car need for the inspection?
The inspection takes 1-2 hours.
What if my car is damaged during any part of the inspection?
We work exclusively with ISO certified garages and qualified staff. All cars are handled with the utmost care. In the unlikely event of your car being damaged, we will readily assist your with any reports and insurance claims.
Can I refuse to have my car inspected?
It's your car and you can of course refuse to have it inspected. But keep in mind, that you will most likely lose the interest of the buyer. Most buyers will want to have a car checked before they buy it, and Scout My Car is an extremely convenient solution for buyers and sellers alike! You can just sit back, while we pick up your car, inspect it, and drop if off after a free car wash!
