New Dubai speed limits since yesterday:
Mohammed bin Zayed and Emirates Road in Dubai are the two road that will make their users have to reduce their speed limit from 120km/h to 110km/h starting 15th of October.

According to the UAE’s federal traffic law, motorists will be slapped with a Dh600 fine for exceeding the speed limit by 30 km/h, Dh700 for speeding by 40 km/h, and Dh1,000 if they drive 50 km/h over the speed limit.
Now, report accidents at petrol stations:
Al Rashidiya police station has trained 58 Enoc employees to receive reports of minor traffic accidents on Dubai Police smartphone app. People can now go to petrol stations instead of police stations to avoid queues. The service is available in ten petrol stations in Dubai.

700 caught in unlicensed private car taxi services crackdown in Abu Dhabi:
Almost 700 cases of people using their private cars as taxis for paying customers were discovered by police in Abu Dhabi in a crackdown over the past three months. This act can affect the safety of the passengers due to the lack of safety and security means in such vehicles, as well as the lack of comprehensive car insurance and licence to practice this profession.
