Fewer people killed in road accidents in Dubai

According to traffic police, the number of fatal road accidents in Dubai has decreased in 2017 to 148 casualties. This represents a decrease from 195 people killed in 2016 and 166 killed in 2015.

RTA officials state that several initiatives to reduce speeding and increase driver awareness have been launched, in addition to the installation of 50 more pedestrian bridges by 2023.
